Beautiful location near to other restaurants, the beach which has local village people gather in evening, especially Sunday and WakaGangga being truly exceptional. Beautifully maintained and gorgeous room, shower facilities, a hairdryer, and guest toiletries in the room.

Waka Gangga gets my 10/10 rating for its amazing location within real, working rice fields, perched up on a cliff with sweeping ocean views and mountains on one side. A big plus: stylish architecture that makes the best use of the spectacular site. The peaceful landscape and isolation unfortunately works against this hotel too - unless you are a honeymooning couple. Its isolation means tourists in search of shopping and nightlife might - mistakenly - give Waka Gangga a miss. This hotel is a gem, both for its spectacular location and its friendly staff.
There is nothing to do after a couple of days swimming, lazing around and spa treatments. We would liked to extend our stay to 4 days, but there are no shopping or tourist attractions in that area except Tanah Lot temple. Waka Gangga needs to create an activities programme to encourage guests to stay more than 1 - 2 days eg. Maybe village and padifield and nature walks, mountain bike/bicycle trails, Indonesian cooking classes, kids activities etc.

The perfect place for people who are looking for calmness, nature, beachwalks.
The hotel is set in a incredible natural envorinment, but this means also that you are very far from everything. All excursions, restaurants, shopping, ... you always have to book through the hotel. The proposed prices are a bit high. It gave me the impression that the staff tried to profit from their situation.

A special mention to the caring staff with the professional service we received from every member of staff. The fashionable and reasonably large room on the food-wich was so good. Savoury and complimentary breakfast with continental dishes, the same water - well worth the money.

Great place to relax.
It is quite difficult to reach, and not near to any larger villages. Therefore, you are a bit stuck to staying at the resort, E.G. for lunch and dinner.
